Why is Miller Rogers different to other nutritional therapists?

Before booking your first appointment…
Miller offers a free 'chemistry meeting' to assess your needs;
to explain what the treatment entails; to ensure your goals are realistic, and more importantly--attainable.

When you book your first appointment, please down load the appropriate questionnaire, and bring it to your appointment having filled in as much information as you can.

How much does a consultation cost?

What happens at the first consultation?

The first session is 3 hrs. (You will only be required for 2hrs.)  Miller will discuss your health concerns in detail, looking at your health over your lifetime using each illness or ailment as a clue to what has happened to your body. She will check various visual indicators such as your hair, nails and eyes, and take your blood pressure. You will discuss what measures can be incorporated into your lifestyle and what changes you are prepared to make.
After the consultation all the information is analysed to build up a profile, Miller then creates an individual programme that is sent to you either by post or email. It is specifically designed for you and your symptoms, it contains dietary guidelines, a supplement prescription, and is your first step to better health.

And subsequent consultations?

The second appointment is 6-8 weeks later with follow-ups monthly afterwards. Follow up appointments take 1hr.
Miller is happy to answer queries about any aspect of treatment, and patients usually store up long lists of questions for their next appointment. She will discuss your progress, any remaining or emerging symptoms, to see what changes need to be made to your programme in order to address and treat these symptoms.
Generally patients notice marked changes prior to their second appointment.

Will I be hungry and have to eat horrible bland food?

No, it can be just as tasty as the food you already enjoy. You certainly shouldn't go hungry,  despite restricting the type of foods you eat, and once your health improves so, fortunately, do the cravings for the odd take-away, alcohol, sugar and fatty foods. As part of the programme Miller does include information about recipe books for restricted diets, suggestions for alternative foods and a list of local 'nutritional-therapy-friendly' shops to help with initial changes.

Difficult Diners is a website dedicated to those who eat a restricted diet, literally those who find it difficult to dine anywhere other than home. It is also for parents and carers of difficult diners, as they have to cook for a restricted diet. It includes information on the more common allergies, wheat, dairy, yeast , sugar, and nuts. It also includes sample recipes for diets that are wheat free, dairy free, yeast free, sugar free and nut free. Sample recipes have been taken from Difficult Diners--The Cookbook.
Difficult Diners was set up by Miller Rogers in 1998. Miller Rogers is a nutritional therapist who works in Clapham, South London.
