Some people have allergies to eggs whilst others have chosen not to eat them for similar reasons that vegetarians choose not to eat meat. It is easy to find egg-free recipes, but there are also replacements for dishes that require some of the properties that eggs provide, such as in baking. These replacements are available in all good health food shops, but ensure you use the correct proportions and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

AVOID Egg, whole egg, dried egg, egg white, egg yolk, albumen, egg lecithin.

Difficult Diners is a website dedicated to those who eat a restricted diet, literally those who find it difficult to dine anywhere other than home. It is also for parents and carers of difficult diners, as they have to cook for a restricted diet. It includes information on the more common allergies, wheat, dairy, yeast , sugar, and nuts. It also includes sample recipes for diets that are wheat free, dairy free, yeast free, sugar free and nut free. Sample recipes have been taken from Difficult Diners--The Cookbook.
